| So since the last post I found out that Johann Hari has a history of rather blatant plagiarization, so eff that guy. It just goes to show you how badly you can f*ck up and still have a career if you’re a white dude. Gross.Anyways.June was hugely successful writing month with over 27,000 words written in my novel. This is very heartening after an abysmal performance in May where I barely cleared 10k. So that’s good. And I’m almost to the halfway point, which is also exciting. Besides that I don’t have much to share. Probably because I’m also in quite a negative mood after driving for 6 hrs home from my in-laws. I ate way too much junk food and I should know better but I wholeheartedly agree with whoever wrote that thing (meme?) saying that if you go on a road trip and your snacks don’t look like what an unsupervised 7 year old with $50 would buy then you’re doing it wrong. Another part of the bad mood is that we’re half way through 2024 and these things always tend to make me freak out from a ‘what am I doing with my life’ standpoint. So there’s that.Plus I have to go to work tomorrow with no weekend. Poor me. p.s. Free Palestine |
